Jordan Turns 10!

Hard to believe our baby turned 10 years old on May 12th.
She had a party with friends and quite a few came. They all had a great time.

Can't keep up

I just can't seem to keep up this blog. Day to day is just crazy and busy. We are having fun though, never a dull moment. I can't believe we are a few days away from my first baby being 10. Austin is going to be out of Kindergarten soon and Dylan is well on the way to being diaper free. Time just flies.

Dan got a new car, we spent Easter in Mooresville, jobs are crazy, Jordan getting ready to take big math/reading tests..lots of stuff. I took some cute pictures on a farm for a client of mine. The kids came with Dan and enjoyed baby chicks, Easter egg hunt and a picnic.

Once again, delayed in writing

Welcome to our crazy, nutty life where we don't have extra time for much! Things are going well here. Kids are doing great! Austin is ready for 1st grade which is hard to believe. Jordan made the Honor Roll again with all As and Bs. Dylan decided to go potty IN the potty at daycare yesterday. Work is crazy for both big kids (Dan and me)! We have both had a lot on our hearts lately and are trying to figure out the best options for everything.

I have had 2 mottos the past few weeks. I have spent a lot of time, reading and re-reading them.
#1- "Time spent waiting is never wasted. God uses it to strengthen us for what is to come. Waiting provides time for a perspective check, seeking to see things through the eyes of faith rather than the flesh. 'Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!" (Ps. 27:14)

#2- "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct they paths. " (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Things are the photography front are moving along. It seems I have jumped head first right on into this thing. I have a website now http://www.affordablememoriesphoto.blogspot.com/ and a facebook page http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1664355770569&set=a.1469297974246.2067147.1287494878&theater#!/pages/Affordable-Memories-Photography/137285976344067

Working on all this technology stuff.. .I love taking photos, everything else will come. Just have faith and hold on. I do have a big shoot on a farm coming up the weekend of April 16th. 5 children.. ages 10, 7, 5, 3 and 1. Whew- it is going to be so fun. I have lots planned with bubbles, pin wheels and picnics. Very excited.
